Cheryl Riley I too painted that hut before the bikies burnt it down. I recently got a surprise to see my painting hanging in the hotel at Franz Josef.

Cheryl Riley Neville Hatwell was the photographer. His shop was where the Cook Saddle is today
Shirley O'Connor Mrs Clements at Charleston was a Hatwell.
Shirley O'Connor I flew in mid 60's Haast to Fox Glacier. Landed in airfield which was a paddock for grazing cattle. Beautiful scenery. Before was finished. Then a gap no go from Paringa north.

Cheryl Johnston yes they did....It was known as Carol’s hut if I remember correctly. It had old women’s weekly pages pasted on the inside walls from what I remember.
