DescriptionPeter Gray."When I was an apprentice sparky at the Strongman Mine 1960-65, I used to fill in at the lamp cabin if someone was sick, on 'Dog watch" you had to fill & light the lamps for the day shift, used to make the lead rivets every day recycled form the previous day to seal the lamp. 60 years on I still have a chromed Naylor lamp & a carbide lamp, these are my reminders of home."Date of Photo1960-65Map^[1]ContributorPeter Gray
