Date Created26th December 2019CommentsGeoff More That year my relative rode a horse from nelson....1 weeks ride...to greymouth..he was part of the provincial government..passing by a hotel was offered a beer..he drank it still in the saddle...next thing he remembers is waking up with the horse making it's own way down the track almost certainly saving him from being robbed....he sold tbe horse and saddle in greymouth and took a boat back to nelson.
