Theresa Gibson And what a magic little cabin and surrounds it must have been too! I went there when it was starting to fall down but knew it had once been a picture. An enormous monkey puzzle tree marked the location.

Elizabeth Mehrtens Tilly Bell was a teacher at Hokitika Primary also a brownie teacher for many yrs I think she got recognized with a Queens Medal for her services to youth in Reefton I went there as a Brownie , along with my sisters her cottage in Reefton was also immaculate she invited us there to tasks to earn badges for brownies , Brownies was always in the hall down Sheild street I think Masonic Lodge or one of those mens clubs

Shirley O'Connor A teacher Miss Bell taught mu late ma Brid nee Hennessey at Fairdown school. Families there included Woodward, O'Neil. Macnamara, Scherp, Stannard perhaps and over time 8 Hennessey children. Fairdown had Mabel Neumann a teacher. Another teacher became Mercy sister Sister Peter.
