Robert Fay Lemon Griffin cobber was a nice quite horse, she had a foal called star, he was a bugger of a horse, we used to try and ride him ,he would let you on and start running then he would lower his head and away youd go a over t,

Michelle Gillman I can't remember who had it but we used to ride a horse in Dobson (I think) and you'd get on and then he'd rear up and tip you off the back every time but we still kept getting back on.

Lana Tuckerman Yes Star was Cobbers foal, Star was a totally different nature to Cobber, never really broken in......more like a wild horse lol

Brent Duggan I also remember both horses. It's lovely to have these memories come back. We used to live across from Dutchy and I remember as a young fella always hearing the noise from Joe cutting up the logs out the back at his dad's house. You will remember that Vernon Pattinson
