Alan Nimmo I remember a few of these floods while growing up in Nelson Quay. Quite an adventure for us kids.

Yvonne Smith Yes..I remember looking out my kitchen window to see two children paddling down Barclay Place in an old bath...It was so funny...some things you never forget..Great days living in Cobden.

Probably the flood of May 1950, which took the Blackball Bridge out. It was the second time it went out before the 60s when it finally went for good.
