Steve Fitz-Gerald.."Thinking of that day 50 years ago as a group we wandered across farmland and there were a couple of old gold dredges abandoned in their ponds. This will be part of one of them. The young bloke up top is Rob. I don't remember his last name, however he was a painter/paperhanger and I believe he still lives thereabouts although just starting out when I took this pic and will be old enough now to be just finishing up."

Steve Fitz-Gerald Could have set up a gold dredges trek for tourists. Would have been worth more long term than scrap value

Dennis Gibbs Moonlight dredge was still there in 1977. Last time I saw it any way.
