Charlie built his hut close to the Waiho River for a reason. it was next to a hot water spring.. Graham brothers later built a bathhouse in close proximity for customers to use on there way back from the glacier.Although they were in an advanced stage of disrepair, I remember them both being there in th late 1940s. Upstream of the confluence of the Waiho and Callery rivers
