Colleen Byrne It looks like the old Denniston school on the left I went there for a few days while mum was away with dad on his final leave then went back to Burnett, s Face school

Steve Fitz-Gerald A real longshot ..... there is a chap I would love to try and catch up with if he is still alive that I knew at Cashmere High School in the late 1960's.
He was born in Dennison I would guess in about 1953.
I can't for the life of me remember his surname which prevents me from trying to find him. If anyone mentions it I'm sure I'll know
His first name is/was Neville and his grandmother lived in Westport in 1968 as we went and stayed with her shortly after the Inangahua earthquake.
He was a very short asthmatic boy.
There can't have been hundreds of births in Denniston at this time so someone that lived there in the early 50's may have noticed one.
