I LOVED my childhood, my teen age years ESPECIALLY & the life long friends I STILL cherish from back then.

Craig Norman When I went to Hamilton East school we would have the fancy dress ball, where we would do the folk dances we had practied for 6 months. My mother made me a Noddy outfit complete with a hat with a bell on it.

Wayne Steele Cynthia McCaughan exactly. Sure the kids were innocent but thank god those days of racial stereotype are (almost) gone. I had a golliwog but would never give one to a kid now. NZ never imported Black Slaves but living in the USA I found just how bloody outrageous this lampooning is.

George Gardner Yep, won't be much longer before we have vigilante patrols around our neighbourhood. But, we didn't have frigs or flush toilets or showers either and only our bikes for transport.
