Anje Kremer yes ,but on the side you see that it has been bigger because of the rock faces on both sides .

Maye Dunn I'm sure when the first time I ever saw it in the early 60's it was half way down the valley.

Anje Kremer yes and in 1971it was behind Roberts point and then the fletcher bridge got build .

Charlie Blanchett I remember going into that church to see the Glacier but I would have had to chop the trees down to see it

Arthur Dehn Charlie Blanchett what a site to see in 1938 from that church window , it filled the whole valley. Us kids saw it lots of times !!!

First seen it around 84 then walked up again in 96 and was not far from car park I’m sure and can’t believe how far it’s retreated in last 10 years
