Paul Huffam Looks like a 1930s photo. From Ikamatua it was over the Rough River bridge and turn south, not far. As a family we used to attend in the late 1940s - it was a great day out. Dad would even take our horse - a heavy hack - to enter into the bush races. Seem to recall Sandy Keith (Hukarere) playing the bagpipes too. Races of all kinds for young and not so young!

Haha yes. H,rder than it looks. Great day out. With respect at end of day Jack Clayton after rescuing him from the marquee tent, would say " you drive Kev" and we all make it back to the wonderful Eileen at Waimunga. Happy memories.
