Liz Emer Tobin My great grandad worked on the lewis...he built a hut and the named it after him, it wad where he slept during the week..it was Tobins rest but now itsTobins bridge...i was told the hut is still there...

Liz Emer Tobin Heather Newby ive never looked for it, not sure what side of the road. He built it so he could stay all week and stay dry lol, then go back to blacks point on the weekend...

Glenn Johnston Interesting. No I haven't been to or even heard about that hut but know where Tobin's Stream and bridge are and have visited other old huts or remains in the Rahu area. I'll check to see if its on the old maps.
