Date Created8th March 2020CommentsCedric Trounson it still amazes me that while Greymouth CBD was established only 40 odd years previously, that any planners would build a town in a river bed of which they knew was subject to flooding

Ceol Mhor NZ Maori had a Pa site there previous to Europeans, even they were smart enough to keep to higher ground.
