Alan Messenger I rode a lot with Ron and Jack. Both Very good cyclists, Ron on the road and Jack on track.

James Codyre Seem to remember running around Victoria Park.Was it for cross country at Marist?

John Coffey I remember Marist athletic sports being held at Victoria Park's all-weather track when Anzac Park was too wet. One lap equalled 880 yards (half mile); half lap was 440 yards etc.

Mary Moffitt A lot of road races started and finished at Stillwater. Ron Hartill was amazing to watch because he had such a wonderful sprint at the end. The bike leapt forward as he powered into the last few metres. Very thrilling to watch. We all got out on the road. Too bad if any cars came along.
John Cron was also good at tennis, and played for the Stillwater team.

Shona Ratana I remember a Hartill guy riding his bike Not sure of his first name. He was a very good well known rider at that time 1950s era
Peter Mcgurk Remember Ron as a fellow pupil at Grey Marist in the early 1950’s. Have not heard of him since. PEter McGurk
