Date Created4th April 2020CommentsNoeline Pinn The chimney at the side brings to mind that when a chimney went on fire, the men would have to come from the mill with axes and smash the chimney away from the house., then the householder had to wait for a new one to be built. Witnessed one at Jones’s house when I was young. Was quite spectacular to a kid, and something I can never forget.
