Glenys Elizabeth Martin Not 100% positive it was the same one have a feeling may have been earlier one, All about it in book called Doctor in the Sticks written by former Doctor ... who spent some time their (quite a good read and quite humerous) I have this book but unfortunately can t get at it as it is in storage and we are in lockdown

Ronlyn Dyeming I suppose the hospital was built for the worker's working on the Otira tunnel. Hard work in those days only using shovels and picks.

Viv Sheehan The hostel was for the girls working at NZR refreshment .

Viv Sheehan Just struggling to get around now Trev ,was to have op in July but now on hold with shut down. THE old brain is still working though.
