Linda Hughes Definitely based in Greymouth.

Pete Muir I have talked to my mother about these photos and without seeing them she thinks the guy on the left in both photos playing the trumpet is Charlie Ackland, the other sax player next to Alan would be Jim Penny. The drummer maybe John Bird and piano player maybe Ces Murly. The other trumpet player in the 2nd photo could be Eric?? Findlay. The normal piano player in the 5 Aces was Ann Rodden and George Simon was the trombonist. This may be an early photo of them. My mother, Clarice Muir, used to play piano for them when Ann was unavailable.
