David Grundy Brendon Forrest 1984 Wanganui was my last year of Colts where Canterbury shared the spoils with Auckland drawing the final.

Alan Campbell Jason Baxter oh to be young again lol

Grant Thornley I can say I was so proud to be involved with these guys.We had only 13 players no money,no manager.Iremember the team being clapped off the field after we were thumped by Auckland but never gave up.The team spirit in this team was amongst the best I have ever been involved in.Great bunch of guys.

Alan Messenger I was in the first West Coast Primary Schools team ( goalie) selected to play in the Canterbury Centennial 1950 Hatch Cup tournament.

Alan Messenger From memory we were beaten by Canterbury 12 nil, Nelson 10 nil. Then we drew with South Canterbury 2 each but were disqualified because it was found that we had 12 players on the field.

Grant Thornley Thanks Forrie,do you remember having to drive the mini bus home from welly after our big night out at the Tawa hockey club.

Grant Thornley Needed a great manager like Anne Boddy to help with that lot.

David Grundy My cousin Richardson did not make the team, had he finished playing by then or was he a year too old?
