DescriptionThis lovely Greymouth wedding photo belonged to my Great Aunts , Frances & Dorothy Broad who were West Coasters .
It would wonderful if someone could identify the couple so I can return the photo to their family

Annie Smith: I think this may be Helen (nee Renton) and Gordon Oldham. I stand to be corrected, but Helen was my mothers bridesmaid and there is a likeness. CommentsDon Hutton I'm pretty sure my parents knew Gordon. What was his job? A little niggle in the back of my mind says he had a 1930s coupe with shiny hubcaps.

Annie Smith Don Hutton I think Gordon was a physiotherapist in Christchurch. On Riccarton Rd. We often visited when I was a child.

Don Hutton Annie Smith Thanks. I thought it was something "medical." I was at primary school at the time.

Don Hutton I'm not sure who Marianne the contributor might be (Marianne Kelly?) but Francis and Dorothy Broad were close friends of my parents. They used to visit for musical evenings. One played the piano, Dad sang and I lay in bed listening! We called them "The Miss Broads." They lived in a big house in Shakespeare St a few houses down from the old Baptist Church. My late brother Graham used to take them shopping in his taxi.

Bill Garth Gordon was a chiropractor and practiced on Riccarton Road. The surgery is still there they lived there
as well. Had 2 sons Bill was one. They used to come to Greymouth for holidays with their grandmother in Joyce crescentKeith Funnell Irrespective of whom they turn out to be, they look a very handsome couple Mary Moffitt Is it finished yet?
