Brian McIntyre Don Hutton Im not denying it at all, I just can not remember it
Don Hutton Brian McIntyre Ditto. The house I remember there was a rather grand early 1900s single storey place with a verandah, but maybe it was next door? The manual centre was close at hand. Richards original shop was on the other side nearer Dixon Park. Colin Watson lived in a small house on the opposite corner and Paddy Blanchfield's place was not far along on that side too.
Kevin O'Sullivan It was 1977 that it was removed?? I do remember it but the area sure has changed since! 42 or so years sure makes a change to the area.
Lesley Jean Frogley Lived there 1977 78,was a great house, full of lovely people and full of fun fun fun, alot of Bob Marley,on the stereo,ah Ken?My room was far end,i belive it had a local spirit who would open doors, scary.Heard a women had fallen down the stairs, heard her grandchild was in the house with her and was to little to get out.beleive she got the attention of either a neighbour or passer by.she was friendly, those stairs where very steep as they where built in those days.
Don Hutton Lesley Jean Frogley You're absolutely positive this was Franklin St? If you walked across the road to the left of this photo where Franklin St end?
