Tamai Sinclair Hi Steve, I surfed Westport Easter 1970 and I have a distinct memory of a wooden sea wall about 200 metres/yards from the northern tiphead road. A perfect right hander ran off it. fifty years later I cannot find any pictures or mention of this wall and am starting to doubt my memory. :)

As a teenager, I got to use my grandparents' Morris Minor, about 40 mph downhill . When I got back, Pop Rawky (my grandfather), would come out and check it all over, can't think why . These little cars are such classics, love them.

1951 Morrie Minor was my second car 1962 at Napier. Never let me down when travelling between Wellington and Hawke's Bay over the Rimutaka Hill. Sold it for a Minor 1000.
