Craig Norman TV slowly killed off those sorts of activities.

Heather Newby yes.. Dad said that the dances and the gatherings in halls ceased and the sense of community decreased when TV came in .

Anne Honey We had tv in the nurses home but on Sunday we still had our tea dances with uni students Maori apprentices and soldiers. Tv was only on at night.
