Lorraine Greenfield Ralph organised and promoted this annual fun run open to all runners when we were the publicans. A really good day. Started outside Dunollie pub and finished outside the pub went around to Inverness St to Main Rd along main Road back through Runanga this was run around twice. Very popular race with Harriers. League boys basically anyone could take part.

Lorraine Greenfield There is a trophy (Cup) for annual winner. I think the pub has it now.

Bruce Rattray twice
Robert Schuddeboom 5 times
There was no run in 1990 recorded on the trophy

Paul Mulvaney Being a former West Coast journalist/historian I'm compiling a story to circulate in time. Bear in mind we don't yet know the exact date of the photo(s) hence that was more of a question about Ruth & Josh. Yes Heather, I believe Colman is the starter and over to the right is Doc Watson with Eddie Gray facing him. My older brother John & I ran in the halcyon days of the Greymouth Athletics & Harrier clubs who knew the two coast winners of the cup and Bruce Rattray was from ChCh University who also represented NZ as had Eddie Gray and, Dave McKenzie earlier.
