DescriptionThe Denniston Post Office opened 1st October 1883 and Mr R Elliot the Mine Manager was the Post Master. The 1st Post Office was in Dickson Street and later moved to the Mine Managers house which is this building and remained there until it closed on 30th September 1971.

Del Te Rito My grandfather James Robinson worked up at the Incline about 1895 till he had an awful accident, was expected to die. They managed to get him to Wgtn hsptl,was there for a year.
