Jim Webber I played in the schoolboy grades in the early 1960's. my Dad used to bring a group of boys round from Rotomanu, Moana area on the back of his Austin A40 pick-up. I remember the trip being pretty cold on some of those frosty mornings. Mrs Annie Krakosky was our coach.

Dennis Gibbs Lester Mahuika was still playing for Waro Rakau in 1972 - 77. I coached his son in the school boy grades.

Dennis Gibbs Peter Lambert Not sure but was told that when Blackball and Ngahere combined to form Waro Rakau was wood and coal.

I remember him having a twitch in his arm (probably not permanent, but just at some point) and him telling me he had a frog stuck under his skin! The things you remember as a 3 or 4 year old, eh?
