Glenys Elizabeth Martin Yep about 1960 61 was riverveiw boarding house a few of the local Lads used to board there that was I think when Shaws had it and a couple of the Lads also boarded with their family when they moved up to High street near Rathburns shop
The family later sold house in high to millionaire known local for winning the lotto and blowing it

My grandparents ran it for some time ,before I was born.

John Kelly Your grandparents looked after me while my Mum was in hospital. I was about two years old at the time. That was a long time ago.

Lots of changes in Greymouth since then. Your grandparents remained family friends until they passed away.

Annabel Boland they had the ngahere hotel after that ,maybe we met at some time .
I stayed up there quite allot

Yes they did. My husband was the Principal of the Ngahere School in the 1960s. My sister married one of the Gibsons from Ngahere, She lived there for some time but now lives in Greymouth. I would think that we did possibly meet at some time.
