She was the youngest of 10 children grew up at Otira. Born in 1906. And yes brought the stagecoaches down off the pass."

Lillian Grace Fell, (1905-1988), who was born in Otira. Her father worked on the railway, and had several children, Lil was the youngest.She is known to have driven the stagecoach of Sammy Yde's on occasion, and also drove teams of horses towing cars "up the hill".
