Argyll exported a great number of vehicles to Australia and New Zealand from the first decade of the 20th century supported by the goodly number of Scot migrants here. Popular as touring cars, trucks and buses on the east coast of the South Island. Still a few around, a gear box suitable for the Highlands perhaps.
A wonderful record of just one of the voluntary community services which characterised the building of a great province.
