John Rosanowski Ahaura was the admin centre for the Grey valley in the days when rivers were formidable barriers.

Elaine Bolitho From memory - and I used to see dozens of birth certificates in the 1950's early 60's I think this one is only unusual because the entries are recorded vertically rather than the usual horizontal entries. Does make sense hav ing a longer space to write in. Maybe West Coast ingenuity?
Alan Messenger That is what used to be known as a full birth certificate. The small common one was known as an extract. I think it only showed the person’s full name and date of birth.
