Greymouth aerial 1980

DescriptionBack in about 1980 I took these photos on a flight over Greymouth. As you do when going for a local flight you have a look at your house and maybe take a photo. Taken that day are the home of my friend Peter Hodgkinson, near the South Beach Overbridge, who was flying the aircraft. My house next to the Karora School and a pilots eye view as we approach the Greymouth airport runway. I was learning to fly back then and always remember how small that runway looked as you aimed the aircraft at it.
