DescriptionA photograph of Waterwalk Rd closed to traffic so it can be used for helicopters to land with patients from an accident. Taken about 1980. You can see on the left that the "New" hospital is under construction (Note Tower crane and scaffold) 40 years seems a very short life for a hospital??
