There are no hills like that at Kumara Race Track, it is Reefton.

Maybe Golf Links Rd. On way to Omoto. Just by the hills in background as you would see looking East towards Kaiata. Maybe?????

I looked at Reefton on Google maps, it does have that terrain. Looking closely at this photo it appears we are standing in the street, there are cars parked on it. So possibly not a race track. I looked at the Reefton Trotting Club...if that building is there, can't see it on the map now.

Looking at Reefton, could this be near School of Mines on 22 Shiel St...the hills look very similar on the Google map. The house at 18 Shiel wasn't built until 1963.
