Lee Henderson back in the sixties there was McIntyres,later to be Maneras store, Bevernages, later to be Routhans, Macs or Bevvies, plus Sheard’s Dairy by the old Totara hall. Addisons even had a clothing shop, The school and the Dooley school and even three churches that used to be full every Sunday. It was no hick town. And whilst on it we had the rail and three sawmills, the list goes on.
