AddBy: William Gray4th Nov 2020 3:57PMKONINI. Built 1957 by Henry Robb Leith Scotland for the Union Co. Traded on the East Coast of NZ for a period of time along with her sister-ship KAIMAI. up until 1967, In January 1968 she arrived here at Greymouth, as a replacement for the KOKIRI which had be sold to the Far -East, she traded in and out of here until making her last call here in June 1970. Sold to Singapore owners in 1971 and renamed KING TOWER. After trading around Asia for several years, she was scrapped in January 1985.
