Roger Howell Yes. It was replaced in 1915 by the bricks & mortar school I attended in the 1940s. It assumed the name Grey Main from 1923 after GTHS opened.

High School and Music School.The boarding school dormitory was upstairs on the left.It was demolished in the 1950s when the new music School was built

Attended both St Pats and St Marys High School Travelled by bus all those years from our home in Dobson to Greymouth All our family of 9 did the same?

I suppose all the kids who attended the catholic and state schools in Greymouth travelled on the same buses? I recall a big lineup in High St outside Grey HS every day.
