DescriptionHey, hey, hey everyone! My name is Cheryl Fazzini and I am American with deep NZ roots. My great grandfather was James Park Crown Prosecutor for Westland. I have been to Hokitika in 1975 and in 2014 and loved it and my passion is genealogy!
James was married 3 times and his second wife was Marion Bain Jack at the right side of Picture. They had a cabin at Lake Kaniere that is still there! He was born at Lyttelton in the year 1854, was educated privately, and attended the Otago University. He was articled to Messrs Joyce and Adams, in 1879, passed his first series of examinations in 1881, and, becoming duly qualified, was admitted to the bar by Mr. Justice Williams in 1883. Mr. Park went in the same year to Hokitika, and established his present business.
