By the look of photo it was when Sos ( Graeme ) Sutherland owned it. Lots of good memories working on our trail bikes in the workshop ( with help from Dale Aldridge) on Saturday mornings then adjourning to the Duke to decide over a couple of beers where to go for a ride in the afternoon.Linda Howard

..did they not sell motorbikes , took a trial ride on a yamaha rd350 from that shop and damn near killed myself when on acceleration it hit a wicked power band and wheel standed, share luck I am here toda

Tamai Sinclair I had a ride on one. looked at the speedo and I was doing 85 mph. no helmet or any sort of protective gear. First and last time I did that. Luckily my 250cc trail bike was stolen before I had time to kill myself.

I brought a RD 350 from there, cost $1500 in 1975. Loved it, wish I still had it for a collector's item

A new Raleigh was the top of the dream list for most kids. Dad made ours from old parts recycled from whereever and were painted and refreshed but his great conservation was under-appreciated at the time.

Used to go upstairs on a Friday night to a “nightclub” (run by a church group). Had all the coloured lights going & place was in semi darkness! Always had a banana split lol - they were the best!! Wish I could remember what it was called!
