hang on a minute that does not work in with the global warming hysteria

Donald Hibbs Have you had summer snow at Arthur's pass any time recently? Global warming is not a new subject. My father, from Ross, often talked about it. He died in 1973. Atmospheric analysis shows we are liberating more carbon than chlorophyll can l… See More

was fresh snow on the tops last week as it turns out. I dont buy into it simply because we dont have accurate records that go back far enough. if the science behind the rhetoric was accurate they would be able too forecast extreme events accurately but… See More

Donald Hibbs Our scientists predicted a summer like our last one back in 2013.
They said it gave them no satisfaction telling the politicians "We were right."
Scientist do have atmospheric gas records. It comes from ice cores extracted from Antarctica.
Most people on the coast know how fast the glaciers are retreating. Some of that is caused by natural fluctuations, but most is man made.
Throughout 2019, anticipating disaster, our rural fire brigades were desperate for funds and equipment.
The government gave them no help. Instead, our Prime Minister, a climate sceptic, went on holiday to Hawaii.

Dave Hamilton the wake up call in Australia was the green ideology of not allowing the burning off off the leaf litter and branches that had built up over the years or did you choose to ignore the report that was released from the Royal commission into the disaster like the leftard media in Australia
Dave Hamilton
Des Madgwick West Coaster The temperatures were so hot that RAIN FORESTS, forests that have never previously burned went up.
The litter was a very minor issue. You can burn off, have rain and be back to where you started in a month.
Whatever you do, do not believe any of the Murdoch media. I heard in Canada "It is Andrew Bolt verses 15,000 scientists."
I live here and can see the changes. The houses have gone from biased towards keeping warm, to biased towards keeping cool.
Over 40 years we have changed our own house by fitting shades, reflective sarking and installing air-conditioning, plus solar panels to power it.
The greenhouse effect is working, and it is working really well.
Water has immense thermal regulation effects with its high specific heat and its very convenient freezing point. However, once global ice has all melted, there will be nothing to keep the globe cool until water starts boiling. That is too hot for us.

Hmmmm what happened to my other comment, I wonder. I hope I wasn't censored.

I think it is all part of the larger cycle of which we know little about. Another way to look at extreme weather events is are more happening or are we just able to capture more data and footage than ever before. 50 years ago how many people did you kn… See More

Dave Hamilton you need to research some "History" of Australia by going to the newspapers from the last century before your so called Murdoch media and you will see Australia has been much hotter over the centuries but then you won't see those facts on the Gay BC in Australia and as for your statement that burning off the leaf litter will make little difference is bullshit you obviously didn't take any notice of the Royal Commission report into the Bush Fires as for all the work you have done on your own house good on you i hope it makes you feel better, the biggest problem we all face in the future is over population. And there just as many if not more imminently qualified scientists who disagree with your 15,000 scientists and finally who gives a flying fuck what Andrew Bolt says he's a television "opinion show" if you're so down on the bad "Murdock Press" that tells me more about you than anything else.
