Yellow number plate and red registration sticker date the photo to 1961-62.

The car is a Morris Oxford. It must be almost brand new as it is the facelift model introduced in 1961.

I wonder about the date, because the number plate is yellow and were used from about 58 till the black plates came in approximately 63. Or early 60’s

The days when course wool was worth carting to market. Those days need to return …if people would again put wool carpet in their homes instead of plastic.
