If anyone fancies dressing up there is competition with $1,000 in prizemoney at the races for the best costume from the time. The President - me - will not be entering but if you have an outfit that reflects those times 150 years ago we would love to see you.

I know it sound's like a strange question but trotters and pacers were initially ridden and sometimes at the same meeting as Gallopers.

Peter Armstrong I've been to the Race Meetings on the West Coast, Many Years ago where at the Gallopers ,would have 2 Races for the Harness Code . Great Days Out .
