Hardwicke Knight was from Dunedin and very interested in history. I have a copy of one of the books he authored; it is about early NZ photographers.

Glenn Johnston He published a series called Otago Cavalcade crammed with photos. I have 7 issues each covering a 5 year period from 1901 to 1935. He lived at Broad Bay on the road to Portobello not far from my great grandparents former holiday home. He was held in high regard.

I have a copy of his Otago Peninsula book; amazing amount of detail, and photos, his own and collected of anything of historic interest. I wonder how much time he spent over here.
