Mary was a lovely lady.
As were all these legends.
Andy Henderson and I use to run euchre evenings on a Monday night that many of these club stalwarts attended

Mary Wells used to remind me that she had been a kindergarten teacher of mine. (she must have only been a teen then) I remember a few of the guys in the photo though I wasn't even born back when it was taken.

Glenn Johnston yes Mary was my kindy teacher too. She went to Christchurch and taught there too only returning to Hoki to teach and care for my elderly grandparents. Such a wonderful caring lady with a big heart. I was lucky to have her as my Aunt.
