I left Grey Main in 1947 and Mr. Jones had been my teacher a couple of years before that when our class was in the outbuilding away from the school and Mr. Jones was a terrific teacher.
I lived in Marsden road and remember Graham Schaef but did not know him personally.

I guess that will be the same Mr (aka General) Jones that taught me in Form 1 1969. He made us line up like soldiers on parade and marched us into class each morning. To his credit he gave me a very good understanding of English language grammar.
