I have lived at Otira Township on 3 different times, I love the place. Looked after the TV aerials and the cable going up to Kelly's Range, Did search and rescue all around that area, 3rd Officer in the Local Fire Brigade, Grade 2 Ganger in the Railways there. That place is deep in my heart.

I remember that road so well! We travelled it at least once a week for three years while we were teachers at Otira School.
