Our family had a concrete coal bin,, and we used a coal bucket and banjo shovel to fill the bucket.

Some of those greenies also filled coal buckets elsewhere in NZ I am sure.
Coal is too expensive in the rest of NZ to fill coal buckets... its the natural gas that closed down the coalmines.. kapuni natural gas closed down Dobson mine after they lost their major contract to the Auckland gas company
