Yes I passed through Barrytown about 2 year ago saw the house my father built on our dairy farm in 1916 had alterations but style still viable .

Yes many times when in Hokitika or Invercargill and thankful too had opportunity few years back owners of both homes showed us through the home and able to see alterations they had done (which were well done) was big plus as thought would be great even if just saw around the outside of house and the section so we were very lucky as doesn’t always happen to anyone

Yes, but over the years they have vanished altogether and I travel on the 'Coast passing sites overgrown in some places and built over in others. Only two houses remain extant but no longer held by family members are my Grandmother's home on Pitt St. Runanga, and an aunt's house on Sheil st. in Reefton.

Yes many times when in Hokitika or Invercargill and thankful too had opportunity few years back owners of both homes showed us through the home and able to see alterations they had done (which were well done) was big plus as thought would be great even if just saw around the outside of house and the section so we were very lucky as doesn’t always happen to anyone

Yes, but over the years they have vanished altogether and I travel on the 'Coast passing sites overgrown in some places and built over in others. Only two houses remain extant but no longer held by family members are my Grandmother's home on Pitt St. Runanga, and an aunt's house on Sheil st. in Reefton.
