DescriptionIt is with sadness I would like to acknowledge the death yesterday morning of Frederick George Pitman, who passed away peacefully yesterday aged 97. Fred was born in The isle of Wight and was a cousin to the extended Jacobs family and was brought up in Rotomanu , he was the brother of Dave Pitman(dec) and Tim Pitman ( of Nelson) loved brother in law of the Smith family in Reefton where they lived for a number of years, then they lived in Waddington and Rangiora since 1966. He was much loved by his wife Ngaire and father to Alan and Colin Pitman and he was a dearly loved grandpop and uncle. A private service is to be held in Rangiora tomorrow. A wonderful man who led a busy,full and interesting life. RIPMap^[1]ContributorEvelyn Hampton
