Can you imagine fronting up for your honeymoon and sowing your wife her lodgings for a few days? I can't,

You are all far too too spoilt. My grandparents camped at Castlecliff in Whanganui in the 1920's with two children in a tent about a quarter the size and nowhere near as flash. Today's generation really doesn't know how to "rough it".
Trevor Keith Scott

I remember mr George Northcroft and his Citroen car, he used to go fishing at Okarito when we lived at the Forks Hotel. We used to put a box on the road, he always stopped, we pulled the box with a string and laughed all the way back home. I’m sure he knew our trick but he always stopped.
Jean Boniface
