Went there in 1958 with George And Graham Mcinroe cutting mine timber I road Baldy the horse into the bush to pull the logs out

Crow Bay
Behind the man on the left are lengths of split timber. They are props. The heavy round ones were called Bars. The props held the Bar up. The bar went across the roof supported by the props at each end.
